collectd-dbg software package provides statistics collection and monitoring daemon (debugging symbols), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install collectd-dbg
collectd-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the collectd-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep collectd-dbg *
You will get with collectd-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
